KITCHENAID CLASSIC BLENDER AND 90TH ANNIVERSARY STAND MIXER WIN RECOGNITION FROM BUSINESSWEEK AS COOL PRODUCTS FOR THE HOME

BENTON HARBOR, MICH., — May 13, 2009 – KitchenAid has been recognized twice by BusinessWeek in its “Top Products List.” BusinessWeek has classified the KitchenAid Classic Blender and the KitchenAid 90th Anniversary Stand Mixer as cool products for the home from an array of products that were on display at the International Home & Housewares Show, recently held in Chicago.

The Classic Blender was chosen for its design, color and shape and for Whirlpool Corporation’s contribution to a breast cancer charity. For every $149.99 pink model sold, Whirlpool Corporation donates $15 to breast cancer charity through KitchenAid’s program called Cook for the Cure. The 90th Anniversary Stand Mixer in Candy Apple Red was produced to celebrate the mixer's 90th year on the market. It was selected as “a slice of Americana.”
