Jose Drummond has been named president of Whirlpool Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and executive vice president, Whirlpool Corporation, effective April 2012. Previously, he was executive vice president, Whirlpool Corporation, and president, Whirlpool Latin America.
Drummond joined Whirlpool in 1999 as director, Procurement, Whirlpool Latin America, and held a number of managerial positions, including vice president, Sales, Whirlpool Latin America, and vice president, Supply Chain, Whirlpool Europe. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Drummond worked for Alcoa Aluminio and Accenture.
A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Drummond holds a bachelor's degree in industrial and metallurgy from FEI, Industrial Engineering College (São Bernardo do Campo-SP, Brazil) and has participated in the Executive Development Program at the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
