United Way

Whirlpool Corporation divisions and sites across the U.S. participate every year in raising funds for local United Way campaigns.  Not only do Whirlpool employees contribute dollars, we also provide volunteer services to the campaigns to ensure they are successful.  Whirlpool Foundation offers a one-for-one match for every dollar contributed to the campaigns by Whirlpool employees.  In 2007, Whirlpool Foundation matched the employee pledges from tens of thousands of employees, totaling nearly $3.1 million
