Diversity Awards
Recent awards we have received for our efforts to promote diversity with inclusion are:
- Named 12th on the list of the Top 50 Companies for African-American MBAs to work for by Black MBA Magazine. Whirlpool was recognized as valuing diversity and engaging in a strong recruitment process in hiring talented and highly educated African-Americans and other minorities.
- Received a CEO Leadership Award from Diversity Best Practices and the Women's Network, an honor given to leaders who champion the creation of inclusive, respectful and diverse corporate cultures.
- Named one of "25 Noteworthy Companies for Diversity" by DiversityInc magazine. The company was recognized for its excellent community philanthropy, employee-resource groups and measurement of diversity success.
- Acknowledged for the 10th consecutive year as one of "The Best Companies to Work For" in Brazil by Guia Exame/Voce S.A.
- Recognized as one of "The Best Companies to Work For in Latin America" for the second year in a row.
- Named one of the "Best Employers in Canada" by the Globe & Mail Report on Business Magazine for the second year in a row.
- Named to the "2005 List of Top 20 U.S. Companies for Leaders," by CEO Magazine.
- Ranked one of the 50 best companies for workers over the age of 50 by the AARP.
- Ranked one of the top 100 employers by Black Collegian Magazine for the second consecutive year.
- Received a score of 100% on Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index.
