Whirlpool Canada, Inc. is also active in the Canadian ENERGY STAR Program. In recognition of its outstanding work in promoting the benefits of energy efficiency to Canadians, Whirlpool Canada was honored by Natural Resources Canada with the first Special Recognition Award for ENERGY STAR in Canada. The award reflects a long-standing commitment by Whirlpool Canada to set new energy efficiency standards in the appliance industry.

In Brazil, the company has been recognized for its broad range of Brastemp and Consul brand kitchen, laundry and air conditioning products that are qualified under the Brazilian government's Procel program.
