Mary Ellen Adcock

Board of Directors

Mary Ellen Adcock was appointed a director of Whirlpool Corporation in August 2025. She is a member of the audit committee and the corporate governance and nominating committee.

Adcock has been the executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer at The Kroger Co. since November 2024. Previously, she served as senior vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, senior vice president of retail operations, and group vice president of retail operations. Adcock joined Kroger in 1999, and has held various positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing, and merchandising.

Adcock holds an MBA from the University of Colorado and a bachelors degree in business administration from Vanderbilt University.
