Jennifer A. LaClair​

Board of Directors

Jennifer A. LaClair, was appointed a director of Whirlpool Corporation in April 2020. She is Chair of the audit committee and a member of the corporate governance and nominating committee of the board of directors.

LaClair is the chief executive officer of Pay With Spire Inc., a national fintech payments company focusing on modern solutions for large enterprise merchants. Previously, LaClair served as the Head of Merchant Solutions and the Chief Revenue Officer of Fiserv Inc, a leading global provider of payments and financial services technology solutions. Prior to that time, Ms. LaClair spent five years as the Chief Financial Officer at Ally Financial Inc, the largest digital-only bank and leading financial services provider. Before Ally, Ms. LaClair spent ten years at PNC Financial Services, where she served as the Chief Financial Officer of all of the businesses, and the head of the company’s business banking segment. 

Earlier in her career, LaClair was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, specializing in strategy, operations and business transformation. She began her career in international development, working on economic development programs in Europe, the Middle East and West Africa.

In addition to serving on the Whirlpool Corporation Board of Directors, she serves on the Richmond Federal Reserve Bank Board of Directors, including as Chair of the National Information Technology Committee. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
