Kyle De Jong

Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer

Kyle De Jong was named executive vice president and chief legal officer effective January 1, 2026. Prior to this leadership role, De Jong served as senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer. He has held positions of increasing responsibility across the Legal organization including general counsel roles for the North America business, global disputes and strategic litigation.

Before joining Whirlpool Corporation in 2013, De Jong was litigation counsel at Aon Corporation and served as a senior enforcement attorney at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. He started his career as a litigation attorney at Winston & Strawn.

De Jong received his Bachelor degree in Political Science from Calvin College and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
