GPTW Women promotes relevant discussions on the importance of access to education among women, women’s inclusion and leadership positions to create a fair and balanced society.

In its second year, the award has grown from 20 to 30 competing companies and is based on unique and exclusive research in Brazil. Whirlpool Corporation ranked 11th out of 30 competing companies.

“This achievement reinforces the importance of our global People Excellence strategy and gender equality in the workplace,” said Dave Binkley, Global Human Resources Senior Vice President.  “Among the initiatives that generate pride are the conditions and possibilities for women to develop and assume leadership positions.”
